Tantric Yoga is the yoga of energy, of learning how to activate, sublimate and transmute energy and raise it to a higher level of consciousness: Building up kundalini energy in the top chakras so that it ‘spills, blissfully, from the top.’
Traditional Hatha Yoga asanas (poses) are much more than stretching exercises. Asanas are shapes that can be formed to modulate the flow of energy within, to create healing and strengthening effects on body and mind. No previous experience of Yoga or Tantra is required.
Tantric Yoga focuses on the movement of this internal energy, connecting to and reflecting on its quality. Self-knowledge and empowerment are more important than physical flexibility, strength, and perfecting postures.

Tantric Yoga restores and invigorates all five bodies: the physical body, the energetic body, the mental body, the wisdom body, and the bliss body.
Combining mantra, bandha, and other yogic techniques, with a focus on chakras (energy centres in the body) Tantric Yoga is a more complex form of yoga practice but the benefits can bring about powerful physical and spiritual change.

Sessions are available 5 days per week, although availability of days may vary each week. Booking in advance is required and we ask that clients confirm attendance before 10 am on the day of the session.
